Obtaining simple lists of ancestor names and birth & death dates is not fulfilling or exciting for anyone. What I treasure are family history stories. Through stories we connect to our past. They give us a sense of time and place far greater than a simple chart of ancestors. My Experience

My wife and I have English, Italian, French-Canadian, Native American (Mohegan), Irish, Scottish, German, Polish and Czech ancestry. I have researched exensively in many other countries.

I am the author of the 600+ page genealogy The Hersey Family - Tracing the Descendants of William Hersey of Hingham, MA 1635-Present.
